Beginning in the mid-2000's, Nick Halverson, along with some inexperienced developers from the USA, decided to purchase and develop land in the Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica. During the first few years, the team made many missteps, hired unqualified tradesmen, and trusted the wrong people.
Those early lessons drove Nick to ensure no one else would have to face the same frustrations and make the same mistakes he did.
For the past seven years, Nick and Hanz Cruz have worked together on all aspects of development, property management, and customer relations. They have met with prospective developers/real estate investors, homeowners, and visitors to Costa Rica. These efforts provided a rich base of cultural, legal, and political knowledge that underlies OSA Property Management's business model.
Osa Property Management offers clients based in Ojochal, Uvita, Dominical, Tres Rios, Coronado, San Buenaventura, Palmar Norte, Tinamastes, San Isidro del General, and everywhere in between, all the services needed for home owners and their visitors.
In addition, we offer Costa Rica Development Services for those bold enough to take on developing land in Costa Rica. We have done it - from the ground up, and can share with you the most efficient and effective way to get your project up and going.
We understand that it can be difficult to not only get a house built in Costa Rica (though we can make it easy!), but it can be worrisome when you are back home - outside of Costa Rica - thinking about what is happening to your vacation home.
We have almost a decade of property management in Costa Rica's Southern Pacific region, and offer a wide range of services in this area, including:
